Book Compilations

Shannon and Bob have contributed to two collaborative book projects. What an honor it is to be one of the creative writers or songwriter in these anthologies.

43 women writers

58 poems, essays, and short stories

1 anthology celebrating the human journey

What happens in a women's writing circle? Community, stories, laughter, tears-the best things that make us human.

In this stirring anthology edited by Market Street Writers founder Lisa Colburn, 43 women writers share poems, essays, and short stories that speak to us of anger and grief, tenderness and joy, longing and reverence, liberally spiced with humor and heart.

Unfolding has five broad themes:

  • Origins

  • Herstory

  • Writing

  • Longings

  • Reverence

This collection shows us what it means to be human-in all our strength and frailty, our darkness and our light. This is the human journey, ever unfolding.

Shannon’s poem, Woman Wild, can be found within these pages.

What if leadership is something deeply rooted in universal truths, energy, vibration, sacredness, authenticity and trust?

Just imagine what would be possible for you, your work, and our political and corporate structures if the Circular Leadership Model of collaboration and co-creation were used across the board!

Circular Leadership is not based on traditional methods of learning, teaching and leading. It is not limited to intellectual or academic knowledge. Circular Leadership must be experienced and felt in order to fully understand and know its potential. It requires understanding of, and attention to, the universal principles that apply to all life, expansion and evolution.

The experiences described in this book come from people with different backgrounds and belief systems. They are written in different styles, and convey different types of content for different purposes. It reflects Circular Leadership because each individual author wrote from the heart on a topic that they were passionate about, in a manner that suited them best. Yet, all the authors held a shared intention for the book – to create a work that showcased the personal value and global potential of a leadership model that has been used successfully for almost two decades to operate and manage a non-profit organization.

Shannon’s chapter, “Jump Off the Circle and Enter the Spiral”, can be found within these pages.

Bob’s song, “Together We Rise”, was written specifically for this project and was recorded and released on the album Good Words Good Thoughts Good Deeds.
