Bob Sima and Shannon Plummer met - with a little luck from St Patrick - on March 17th, 2012 at Be The Change Conference. Little did they expect the marriage of souls that have connected their individual and collaborative gifts to be change agents.
Together they amplify each other's talents as they weave their individual gifts into a divine combination of music, wisdom, spiritual practice, and shamanism.
As ordained ministers, they steward Where the Light Gets In Ministries, a 501(c)3, to support those who are on a spiritual journey and desire inspiration, support, and tools. The name of the ministry reminds everyone that an activated heart must first be cracked for the light to enter and ultimately express as full living potential.
Bob Sima
Bob’s songs pack a powerful dose of musical medicine, using elements of folk and soul infused with conscious lyrics. As a songwriter he embodies themes of inner work, interconnectedness, mindfulness, and purpose. He is a messenger. Live in concert he delivers a soul-stirring experience with his melodic and percussive guitar work wound around rich vocals and soaring harmonies from Shannon. This music is intentional, conscious, medicine music filled with relentless wisdom and inspiration.
Shannon Plummer
If Bob is the muse, Shannon is the integrator. Shannon has the lightning at her fingertips, the thunder in her voice, and the earth within her presence. In her foundational lineage the shaman considers themself an apprentice and practitioner, never a master. It is a lifelong way of being, relentlessly deepening their connection to the spirit world. Whether witnessing Shannon one-on-one or from a seat within a larger audience, her wisdom shines through her sessions, talks, writing, and harmonies.
