Shannon Plummer is a Board-Certified life coach, singer, speaker, author, shamanic practitioner, and ordained interfaith minister through the Alliance of Divine Love.

Her engineering degree led her to the corporate world where she excelled at training, team-building, and creating personal development programs. Her management experience inspired her to study life coaching, then further to study shamanism which bridged the healing gap found in her coaching practices. Her daily practice heightened her connection and commitment to her gift, as her definition of “ministry” solidified.

In the realms of coaching and counseling which talk through issues, the shamanic practices are able to work at the energetic level. Coaching is about listening to find disparities, identifying areas that block expression, finding ways to reframe and reshape old paradigms, and expressing the passions that want to birth.

Strategic visioning takes your purpose, mission, and the overarching intentions further into action planning with specific strategies that support your desires and passions.

Through the process, there are often traumas, wounds, patterns, or obstacles that are identified. Rather than ignore them, I offer shamanic journeying and ceremony to uncover and energetically resolve the source at the soul-level to create a healthy alignment of internal support and to initiate a gentle release of what no longer serves.

Shamanic sessions may be combined with a coaching package or may stand-alone on an as-desired basis.

The Bridge

You have a passion. It is more than some poetically romantic concept. You consider it an urgency, a dream, a gift, a purpose. You create a vision board to see it come to life; you journal as you hear it speak to you; you set your goals to attract it into being. Yet something is preventing it from fully materializing.

What do you love most about your job?

I love witnessing transformation that comes through self-awareness and self-empowerment. We have the power and prowess within ourselves to heal our unresolve, yet our human experiences dull that skill. Sometimes we need a little help to see things from a different perspective. I love watching the shift happen.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As an enthusiastic college graduate, I naturally combined engineering principals with my organizational and creative skills to quickly advance as a program manager in the federal government and in the corporate world. I managed multi-million dollar domestic and international programs in environmental cleanup, military construction, chemical and biological warfare response, and counter-terrorism. Throughout my management career, I applied my innate leadership skills to make conscious business decisions that cultivated trust, longevity, healthy competition, independent thought, and interdependent teamwork. I excelled at and was most inspired by facilitating training programs, team-building, and creating personal development programs. My management experience and ability to surreptitiously advance someone’s untapped potential inspired me to train as a credentialed, certified Corporate Life Coach. During my certification process, I met my (now) husband, who also had one foot in the corporate world and one foot in the entrepreneurial world. I took the leap into full-time entrepreneurship about a year prior to him, and he says that I coached him out of his corporate career. Beyond my direct work with clients, my husband and I collectively offer concerts, contemplative musical meditations, themed keynote presentations, experiential workshops, and empowering retreats.
